DP-510 is the successor to the DP-500. The CD mechanism in the DP-510 was
developed with a simple yet demanding aim: extract the information encoded on
the CD one-hundred percent. Accuphase has created an extremely rigid and ultra
precise transport mechanism that attains new levels of performance. The
processor section employs six strictly selected high performance delta-sigma

SA-CD drive in the DP-900 was developed in-house by Accuphase to assure the best
possible performance. Its ultra-massive design combines superior rigidity with
outstanding accuracy. Compared to a CD drive, an SA-CD drive has a higher
revolution rate, and pickup positioning accuracy as well as suppression of
vibrations must be of a higher order, to allow full access to the enormous
amount of information stored on the disc. In the transport, a digital
servo with a dedicated DSP assures accurate readout of the signal recorded on
the SA-CD using the DSD (Direct Stream Digital) principle. This is sustained by
a single-lens/twin laser diode pickup mounted to a high-speed access mechanism.
The mechanism not only realizes optimal reproduction of SA-CDs, it also is
capable of extracting a super-accurate signal from conventional CDs. The output

the volume means that the high S/N ratio and low distortion of the amplifier

The
A-35 was developed as a successor to the A-30 while inheriting many design
aspects of the A-65. Dedication to the best sound possible is always an
Accuphase hallmark. The use of the instrumentation amplifier principle allows
fully balanced input signal paths, and further refined MCS+ topology pushes
noise and distortion down to absolutely minimal levels. In terms of its design
as well as its sound, the A-35 offers a highly attractive entry point to the
world of pure class A. In the output stage of the A-35, proven power
MOS-FET devices are used in a triple-parallel configuration for each channel.
MOS-FETs have excellent frequency characteristics, and their high input
impedance reduces the load imposed on the preceding drive stage. The power
supply of an amplifier is its ultimate source of energy. Unless it provides
ample reserves, sound quality will suffer, and even basic performance parameters
may not be met. The A-35 has a massive power transformer and two 47,000 μF
smoothing capacitors specially selected for their sonic properties. This
sustains an output power rating of 120 watts into 2 ohms, 60 watts into 4 ohms,
