6 The DALI LEKTOR 6 front baffle features the LEKTOR series’ signature silky
matt dark grey finish with stylish edge-mounted aluminum snap locks to secure
the front grilles. All drivers are mounted with concealed screws, lending a
timeless, minimalistic appearance. The 28 mm (1.1”) soft dome tweeter
incorporates a powerful ferite magnet system. This innovative driver provides
enhanced power handling - continuously and instantaneously - as well as lower
power compression, for a more open, vibrant high end. The pair of 6.5” mid/bass
units incorporates lightweight coated woodfiber cones, low-loss suspensions and
semi-shielded, double-magnet motors for a highly saturated magnet system. The
cone drivers utilize inverted dust caps for improved phase response and
structural integrity. Basing the crossover on a minimal number of select
high quality components yields a simple, yet effective filter that preserves the
purity of the original electrical signal and, therefore, delivers more musical

ZENSOR 3 DALI ZENSOR 3 is the newest member of
the award winning ZENSOR series. This brand new speaker is developed and built
to sound much larger than it actually is. Using a 7” woofer based on the
technology from the ZENSOR 7 and the tweeter module from the ZENSOR 1, the
ZENSOR 3 is able to recreate the high frequencies, the mid range and the low
bass in the best possible way.. We have designed the cabinet so that it is
large enough to deliver a sufficient, controlled and deep bass and yet is small
enough to be placed on a shelf or floor stand. The woofer cones are made from a
blend of fine grained paper pulp reinforced with wood fibres. This mix makes the
cones stiff and light which ensures that every micro detail in the signal is
reproduced unfiltered. The 7” woofer increases the surface area by 15% compared
to a 6½” woofer and this helps the ZENSOR 3 to deliver the same sound pressure
with much less cone excursion, leading to an effortless reproduction of the
dynamics in the music. With a 4 layer voice coil magnet motor system the ZENSOR
3 produces an impressive 17% more B/L compared with speakers using the common 2
layer voice coil. A copper clad aluminum wire ensures optimal reproduction in
the mid range, and the power of the magnet motor keep the bass controlled and
precise. The soft dome tweeter module has over and over again proved its ability
to deliver a rich and detailed sound, and the module used in the ZENSOR 3 is no
exception - delivering an extended frequency response with wide dispersion and
low coloration.

PRODUCT DETAILS
The DALI OPTICON 1 is a compact stand mount speaker, designed to be placed close
to the wall or mounted on it. It combines its almost 5 litres of air capacity
with a rear-mounted bass port, a 4 ¾ inch low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer, a 26 mm
ultra-light Soft Dome Tweeter and gold-plated terminals and what the DALI
OPTICON 1 delivers is the perfect balance of clear, detailed midrange and an
impressive tight bass that belies its size.
Legacy
The OPTICON 1 features the same low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer found in our flagship
EPICON series, alongside our unique SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet motor
system and a brand new Soft Dome Tweeter developed for the OPTICON series, all
of which works together along with a individual bass reflex port for the woofer
to produce audio exactly as the recording artist originally envisioned it.

extended internal cabinet volume, the OPTICON 6 reaches lower into the deep bass

fitted to every MENTOR model are designed by DALI. Even the screws that attach

MENTOR MENUET It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to the newest and
smallest loudspeaker in our MENTOR series. The DALI MENTOR MENUET - a small, yet
powerful speaker that reveals great musicality that will set new standards for
sound and performance from a compact speaker. Conceptually, MENTOR MENUET is a
compact bass reflex loudspeaker measuring only 25 x 15 x 23 cm/9.8 x 5.9 x 9.0”.
Even though it is only based on a 4.5” woofer and a 28 mm/1.1” soft dome it more
than makes the grade. Listen to these brilliant tiny loudspeakers and you will
hear plenty of clean, undistorted bass, open and dynamic midrange and detailed/crisp
highs. The 4.5” woofer is airflow optimized to achieve the best possible
coupling between the wood fiber cone and the real wood veneer cabinet. Even the
woofer cut-out in the cabinet is made larger than normal to optimise openness
and dynamic response. The oversized 28 mm/1.1” soft dome tweeter is able to
start and stop with great speed and precision due to the very low mass of the
dome assembly and a powerful motor system (the dome is approximately 30% lighter
than comparable standard domes and the magnet in the motor system is made of the
strongest neodymium material available). The DALI designed drivers, sturdy
binding posts and high quality crossover is the key to achieving extraordinary
performance from such a compact loudspeaker. For optimum performance,
MENTOR MENUET should be positioned in a bookshelf or mounted on the wall using
an optional wall bracket. With two threaded inserts on the rear of the cabinet,
it is prepared for easy installation of the wall bracket without any hassle. The
bracket is designed to ensure optimal clearance between the wall and the bass
reflex port. The neat and clean design - makes it very easy to place the tiny

½“ bass driver and a soft cone dome tweeter. In fact, the technological

Minimal signal degradation… or put bluntly: Transparency and revelation taken to

EPICON 6 Crystal Clear Sound The EPICON 6 is no less that DALI's new reference
loudspeaker. Standing on the shoulders of virtues from the acclaimed EUPHONIA
series, EPICON takes you one step closer to "the real thing". The backbone of
EPICON 6 is DALI’s new peerless driver technology. Featuring two 6 ½“ bass
woofers, the unique Linear Drive Magnet as well as the breakthrough ribbon/soft
dome hybrid tweeter unit the sound breaks with traditional loudspeaker
conventions. The EPICON 6 relies on a 2½-way system as – compared to the
EPICON 2 – it features an additional woofer kicking in below 600Hz. However, for
the highest frequencies the EPICON 6 also incorporates a ribbon tweeter as part
of the hybrid tweeter, in reality turning the speaker into a ‘2½ + ½-way’
construction. Cabinet Meticulous attention to CNC milling of the front
baffle creates more space between the 7 screws, ensuring a free airflow behind

milling process is applied for making the recess and holes for the bass ports
and terminals in the backbone. With a thickness of 33 mm the duallayer front
baffle ensures that energy from the drivers is radiated as acoustic energy, and
not as vibrations in the cabinet. The curved shape of the front baffle is also a
contributing factor in ensuring a stable acoustic platform. Internally the

Magnet System The new innovative in-house developed Linear Drive Magnet System
eliminates four distortion factors in the driver motor system. The individual
parts of the magnet system close to the voice coil consist of advanced soft
magnetic compound (SMC), which eliminates variation of flux strength in the
magnet gap. The SMC material features linear magnetic properties throughout the
frequency range and eliminates phase variation in the force generated within the
motor system. Aluminum rings around the pole piece reduce and stabilize voice
coil inductance, independent of excursion. This allows optimum conversion of
voltage generated by the amplifier to current flowing through the voice coil.
Hybrid tweeter The center speaker also features the EPICON hybrid tweeter module
with the new dome tweeter specially developed for the EPICON series. The dome as
well as the ribbon sit in a common, solid, diecast aluminium base plate, each
with their own enclosure to make sure that no resonances will reach the
sensitive parts. Both tweeters are therefore well protected from any

E-9 F The launch of the DALI SUB E-9 F marks a new stage of what is possible at
this level of subwoofers! The new subwoofer from DALI features a 9” woofer,
capable of moving lots of air with power and precision. The cone is made from
pure aluminium for maximum stiffness and a becoming exterior. Furthermore, the
heavy magnet system wields a massive 4-layer, long-stroke voice coil. All
in all, the heavy-duty abilities of this “motor system” ensure that the woofer
always follows the signal from the amplifier! The heart of this subwoofer is the
170W RMS Class D amplifier with a highly linear response. Embracing a classic
DALI trademark, it simply acts as a total low frequency extension of your AV
system. The result is a powerful, wellbalanced bass reproduction and flawless
integration with your speakers. In addition, the integrated limiter helps
protecting your subwoofer against overloading. The back plate of SUB E-9 F
features controls for volume adjustment, phase, and upper cut-off frequency,
while the power on/off function works automatically via signal detection. And
with the options for LFE or LINE inputs, this subwoofer easily accompanies any
AV set up. SUB E-9 F is elevated from the floor by cone shaped rubber feet,
while a down-firing bass port allows positioning directly against the wall.
